On Wednesday, July 10th, DuPage County State’s Attorney Bob Berlin visited with veterans, veteran service organizations, and other community service groups at the DuPage Veterans Resource Fair at the DuPage County Building.

The event was hosted by the Veterans Assistance Commission for DuPage County, and included the participation of over 50 different veteran and civilian organizations.

In 2015, Bob instituted a veteran’s program as part of the county’s mental health court services. In 2017 it was reported that five (5) veterans had completed the program successfully and only one (1) had been terminated unsatisfactorily.

Bob has also been a strong advocate of protecting those who have protected our liberty. In May of this year he announced that a husband and wife who created a non-profit entity for veteran’s assistance were being charged with unlawful use of charitable funds. The charges were the culmination of a 10-month investigation.

Bob remains committed to seeking justice for veterans who have defended our nation.
